Hurting?
Dear Hurting Person, Perhaps life for you has become so painful or complicated that you do not know what to do for relief. Is your experience of suffering overwhelming? Pain expresses itself through many feelings: loneliness, anxiety, grief, inadequacy, guilt, shame, emptiness, fear, obsession, sadness, depression, and even anger or rage. Confusion reigns when you are lost in anguish. Stress often restricts your clarity of thought and inhibits action. Sometimes, someone outside the situation can see things more clearly. Sharing it all can take a real load from you, especially when the person is encouraging, respectful of your unique personality and circumstances, and prays for you.
